July 10, 20214 yr On the subject of boring and big holes, there's a fantastic project taking place at the Eden Project in Cornwall. They're digging a huge hole for geothermal power that will ultimately, not only power the entire Eden project, but also thousands of homes nearby! There's great potential in the UK for geothermal power. Could provide up top 30% of our needs.
