Screen freezes up for 30 seconds or so

Featured Replies

Does anyone else have this problem,

Using a g2 with a 3060, usually about 30 minutes into a flight my screen will just freeze up with big black areas in the headset.

It stays like this for about 30 seconds (while I pray to the crash gods to spare me) and returns like nothing is wrong.

‘it sometimes happens twice in a 2 hour flight

just wondering if anyone else is seeing this

thanks

I sometimes get a couple of second blanking with mine, then back to normal, but it is quite rare for it to happen. I've never had one as long as 30 seconds though, well except if a CTD happens then it never comes back.

Update: I may have found a solution if this helps anyone

I was using the usb-c connector but I tried the usb-a adapter instead.

I just finished one flight with no glitches of any kind.

Hopefully this trend continues.
