  1. I gotcha now, I am still on v2. I have v2 setup the way I like it with many great sounding voices. I don't see the need to upgrade just yet. Thanks anyway 👍
  2. Thanks for responding but I am not sure what you mean? I have the full version, but I am trying to update it to the latest version.
  3. I have tried numerous times to run the 2.7.0.3 beta2 update file but the program keeps saying 2.7.0.3_x64_beta1a.
  4. The control layers worked great. Never thought to use layers. I appreciate all the help!
  5. Hello, I would like to suppress an axis with one button (my AP on button) and then re-enable that axis with another button (my AP off button). I see the toggle option but is it possible to use another button to un-toggle it? What I am trying to accomplish is when I hit the autopilot on button, my joystick axis movement is suppressed while I fly. Then when I am near landing, my autopilot off button re-enables the joystick movement. Thanks
  6. Thanks Hadron, gives me something else to try. Much appreciated
  7. Thanks, I will try that. I setup a long press with the repeat function that works somewhat ok.
  8. Hello, I am trying to increment the JustFlight RJ altitude knob by 1000 feet with each click of my altitude button. In the plane, each click of the actual MCP altitude knob increments the altitude by 100. I am able to do 100 feet with the increment command "(L:MCP_Alt_sel_knob,·Number)·++·(>L:MCP_Alt_sel_knob,·Number)" but can't figure out how to do 1000' Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Thanks for responding. OpenXr toolkit was great because it took only one eye at full resolution. Does anyone else know of a way to get a single image screenshot.
  10. I use a Crystal light and I used to use the OpenXR toolkit to take screenshots. Due to random crashes, I stopped using it. I have tried using the nvidia overlay and using the screenshot function but it takes a picture of both screens. The MSFS screenshot function does not seem to work correctly in VR for me (it seems to lag, if I take a picture while looking to my left, it takes a picture of the tail area). What are some of the ways you use for MSFS 2024 to take screenshots in VR? Thanks
  11. Thanks so much AnkH, that makes sense. Without the cap my FPS is around 58, I must be losing something elsewhere. Thanks again
  12. Does anyone know why my RDR increases when I cap my framerates? I am using a Pimax Crystal light and using the limit frame rate to 1/2 frame rate in the Pimax app (90 Hz - so its limited to 45). Without capping the frame rate, I have 13ms RDR. Capping I get 21ms RDR. I know just the basics and I am hoping someone with much more knowledge of these things can help me out. Thanks
  13. Yes, it is plane dependent. I have been flying the T6 Texan a lot and they don't come with chocks or covers. Shift + c and off I go. I tried the Cessna 172 and you are correct, it wont start without removing engine covers. Good to know.
  14. I think they get removed after engine start. I usually just Shift c and start my engines and I taxi just fine. I wonder if the efb has a section for removing those if they dont get auto removed? Maybe its plane related, some do, some dont
  15. Hitting Shift + c puts you right in the cockpit. Takes one second.
  16. I use Axis and Ohs, it has a function called "watch simulator events". You open the window and when you turn a knob or press a button, it tells you what the variable is. I used it yesterday on the vision jet, some of the knobs are fiddly and I use my external hardware to control them.
  17. I have a DOF H2 and the turbulence I feel is one of the favorite things I like about it. It really feels like being in a plane. MSFS does a good job with turbulence telemetry. Say I am flying over the ocean and approaching the coastline. The ride is pretty tame over the ocean until you hit the land and things then start to get bumpy. Also flying over hills, you get much more turbulence telemetry.
  18. Did you try to do a reset of the sim so it will download all new files? Overkill has a video on the topic
  19. My original problem was a little different, as soon as the flight started I was at 1 to 2 fps. It would never recover. It sounds like you have the VRAM bug that many people are having, Asobo said they are looking for a fix for it. Hopefully it gets better soon.
  20. It would be great if someone can verify that the Cessna 172 cargo variant no longer works correctly in VR. When I start a flight, I can perform the preflight steps such as chocks etc normally (around 50fps), but as soon as I enter the cockpit, I get 2 fps. Other planes work fine. Thanks
  21. No, I am using everything stock in the sim. I am having other issues such as crashes, so I did not want to change anything before I get that sorted. I do plan on updating the DLSS once I get the sim stable for me.
  22. Update: Found out my stutters are related to using DLSS. When I switched to TAA, almost all of the stuttering has gone away. I still get the occasional stutter but it has improved about 95%.
  23. Sounds like what I am experiencing in 2024, but I didn't have this issue in 2020, really strange. Thanks, back to tweaking I guess.
