July 20, 20214 yr So after I departed from EKCH and was really annoyed with the Volumetric clouds, because it just changed suddenly again from cloudy to clear skies! A real immersion breaker! So I installed REX clouds and put max cloud layers to 9 in Active Sky, the result is great! EA is enabled. I have a much better weather environment now and FPS is great! (Also just bought a RTX 3060 12GB VRAM 😎) Edited July 20, 20214 yr by rob0203
July 20, 20214 yr yeah, same experience here with ENVTEX Clouds + ASCA + AS. The combination of EA with legacy clouds gives best results at present state. Bernd P3D V6 - PC spec: Intel i9-9900 overclocked 5 GHz HT off, 32 GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX3090 24GB, 2xM2 SSD, Skalarki HomeCockpit and Jeehell FMGS on a dedicated Server, PF3 for ATC, MCE, GSX, EFB, AS+ASCA+ENV and OrbX
July 20, 20214 yr REX Clouds with overcast seem to kill my FPS when I look at them, is ENVTEX or ASCA any better?

With ASCA clouds set to 512 textures. EA off . thanks mike
