P3d4.5 Reloading Saved Flight Problem

Featured Replies

Hi I have recently been having a problem when loading a saved flight.

I am placed on the ground at the nearest active runway, even if I was cruising at FL350!.

I can click on my plane icon on the change poss. screen which works, or reload the flight again which always works ok.

Not a big problem but I would love to know what's causing it.

Any Ideas ?

I believe this issue is related to a change in P3D4.5  and to make the saved flight work, you need to first Load with the Default Flight first followed by loading your saved flight.

At least this problem was reported over at the PMDG forums.

Did you try this?

and when you say your are placed on the ground, is it really the nearest airport that you were close to or were you reset to the departure airport?

It is at the nearest Airport .

I will do as you suggested and load default flight first.

Thanks
