MCP II leds blink when powered on

I am fighting to get P3DV5.2 up and operating. Obviously I can't install FSUIP6 or LINDA. I am building a Lear 45 cockpit and using the MCP. While trying to figure out P3D, I started powering panels.

When I add power to the MCP, the leds blink quite quickly. The USB is not attached.

Is this normal?

I assume you are referring to the VRInsight Combo 2 MCP. If so this is not normal. It sounds like an equipment failure either internally or with the power supply.

When connected via USB, P3DV4.5 to Linda via FSUIP6 it stops blinking. Weird.

I have other questions about VRIinsight MCP II. Should I ask them here or in another post/tread?
