Problems loading Flightplans from .PLN

Featured Replies

Loading .PLN files actually works as before SU5, but no matter if it's the GNS530, the G1000, when checking the FP Page, there is always a fix called TIME or something like that, and the GPS doesn't actually recognize the route nor follow it obviously. Might it be out of date Navigraph navigation integration after SU5?

Probably related to the problem that flight planning from the world screen is adding extra waypoints to VFR routers that don't always show on the GPS map or on the flight plan page - IMO this should have been included in the known issues

Only workaround I know is so far is to build the plan after the flight has started.

This is what happens. FS automatically inserts a TIMECLIMB fix and breaks the Garmin FLP.

First step, .PLN loaded, check that first fix is OLINO.

It adds a TIME Climb fix

The first fix to follow by the GPS is now ETPIL,that is, the last one before Destination, it skips all the previous ones. TIMECLIMB doesnt even appear on Active Flightplan, only on NAV page.

I have noticed this issue also, the only way to work around it that i'm aware of is to make the flight plan in cockpit.
