Water effects behind floats on seaplane

Recommended Posts

I have all settings at maximum  and get 60fps and more but I cannot see any foaming behind floats after touching down in the water.

On the latest videos  I have seen  (AV AngelI  with the Aviat) I can observe the splash vividly but nothing happens in my sim...

I must be missing a key element here.

Thank you for any help..

Do you not get any wake effects?

This came with SU5 as best I know.

What floatplane are you using? I believe some mods such as the Bagolu 172 floatplane have not been adapted to execute the particle effects in SU5.  Try the new stock Asobo 172 floatplane or stock Icon A5 to see if you get the effects.

Only stock planes have the wake unless they are implemented by the addon developer

yeah the so called water particle effects are not dynamic and have to be added by the devs - shame.
