Tip for those who were shying away from photogrammetry

I had PG off since my purchase because of my weak computer. With SU5 HF2, I can maintain 30 FPS with the Xcub even around Manhattan or running the Thames.  So if it works for my  4770+1080 combo chances are it will work for you.

Just a suggestion 😉

i've actually turned my photogrammetry off since the latest update! Before I couldn't really fly in those areas with a decent framerate but now I can and I see how melted the photogrammetry is in Europe, I prefer the autogen with custom landmarks! The Bing sourced photogrammetry (most of USA) isn't so bad though.

Not melted  where I tried in London, NYC  or Vancouver. The textures are not sometimes a little dirty but thats it.

I guess some people are more sensitive to it than others, or perhaps I can't turn my settings up high enough. But on the World Update where Paris was included, you could see the melted appearance on the loading screen preview. They're not so bad when you get up close and full details of the model loads in, but the LODs looked really bad, tend to turn most taller buildings into spire like shapes. London looks somewhat melted for me, New York was markedly better.
