February 18, 200719 yr I would like to purchase the CIRRUS SR22G2 aircraft from Eaglesoft. Which system is it better to purchase for? FS2004 or FSX?
February 18, 200719 yr The FSX cirrus has no performance hit that I know of.So if you are happy with FSX and you are using that.... Then FSX is the way to go. On the other hand..if you feel you are going to stick with FS9 for a year or more.. then maybe... get the FS9 version? The aircraft is almost the same in both the versionManny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
February 20, 200719 yr I have that aircraft. It is one nice plane but I take a huge hit in performance in FSX...but I still think it is worth the money. Maybe the upcoming patch will help with the hit on it.
February 20, 200719 yr I concur-I get about a 4-6 fps hit with it-but still think it is one of the great add ons...http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

Can I assume, that's from the Avidyne glass panel? My FSX RealAir SF260 has no noticeable fps drop at all, but then it's not a glass panel. The default Cessna & Baron takes an fps hit also, when using the Garmin 1000. L.Adamson
