Hi

Does anyone know how to turn off the overspeed buffet of aircraft in P3Dv5?

Thanks

I am not sure that is possible. When an aircraft is over its recommended speed limitation, it will be buffetted about by induced turbulance.

Thanks Sherm

I realize that, but this overspeed buffet was not present in the previous versions of P3D.

All of the other supposed realism settings we are able to turn off if so desired,

I have experienced this in V4 & V5, pretty sure it was in earlier versions as well. Long time since I’ve flown V2! Never had V3.

Sorry I cannot give any more advice....never been an issue, and when it turns up, I slow down my aircraft.... though now that I think about it, there is a turbulence setting or two on Active Sky....could that be the source of your buffeting...?

But no it has nothing to do with Active Sky, because I do not have it running to experience this.

You are correct that is is present in the newest version V4, Definitely not in V3 because I still have it installed, I do have the older V4 clients, so I will test them.
