August 23, 20214 yr Hello all, my yoke was working fine but now when I pitch forward it without input rolls right and yes I have done the called for yoke itself calibration and windows calibration and in the settings of XP11 calibration (three times). Anyone else run into this problem? I beginning to think it might be the hardware itself as I hooked up my other yoke and no issues what so ever. Cheers!
August 24, 20214 yr The first step to do when experiencing unexplained flight control behaviour is to use the DATA OUTPUT feature of X-Plane. Go to the DATA OUTPUT menu, click the leftmost (show on screen) checkboxes for field 8 and field 11. Now you can see what the joystick sends to X-Plane, and also which flightcontrols X-Plane displaces in response. That gives you a hint as to what might be the problem.
August 24, 20214 yr Author Good to know. I went to Data Output and this is what I got. Without touching yoke right away, ailrn is fluctuating .0582-.0643 elev at .0000 when I push yoke forward ailrn fluctuates as high as .2513 then when yoke is back at its centered rest position ailrn is stuck at the higher about .2513 ish so tried yoke on other MSFS and problem seems to be there as well. Contacted Manufacturer waiting for their responce. Thanks!
August 27, 20214 yr Author Following up here, I have my other yoke in place of suspect one check data output with this yoke in its resting position and ailrn is at.0000 and elev is at .0000 and in the sim yoke is steady and there is no affect when pitching forward on the roll axis. Seeing as it does it in XP11 and MSFS calling it a hardware problem. Still waiting for another response from manufacturer. I let you know when I know.
