September 1, 20214 yr That is what I hear over and over again when flying the C172 amphibian once the altitude is over about 3000 feet regardless of whether I have the float rudders lowered or raised. Is this a bug? I can disable it on the right side of the instrument panel but why does it warn me regardless of where the float rudders are set. September 1, 20214 yr You can shut it up in General Options>Sound>Warning. Set the slider to 0 and save. This is a general setting so if you use another aircraft and need the warning (500 feet !), don't forget to put the slider back. September 1, 20214 yr Author Thanks. I forgot about that setting. Since my post I have found that the warning is for the landing gear (it is an amphibian). Still it took a while to see the 'button' on the instrument panel (flashing) which (when pressed) disabled the warning.
