The Grumman G-44A has been updated to ver 1.8.

Major changes:

-- Single axis throttle SU7 compatibility fix.  As a result of changes in MSFS SU7, with some controllers it was no longer possible to use a single throttle axis to control both G-44A throttles. This has now been fixed.

-- Glass textures have been updated. Interior cockpit glass will now be visible in external views.

Is there a fix needed for the steam version of the plane?  Just recently the problem of the engines turn off immediately when I move my throttle control of a Thrustmaster 16000.  And then no response.

I have not seen any reports of a problem like you have described. I would make sure the Thrustmaster throttle is correctly assigned and the mixture levers (which are above and behind the pilot) are set appropriately.   When you move the Thrustmaster throttle, do the throttles in the VC move as you would expect?  You could also try moving the VC throttles with the mouse and see what happens.

You said above "just recently" you have this problem. Was all working OK previously?  If so, what has changed?

I can move the throttles in the VC with the mouse but the moment I move the thrustmaster throttle both levers in the VC immediately get reset to the off position.  I've spent a couple hours going over all my joystick assignments before I gave up and looked for and found a support forum here.   Nothing seemed to have changed.  I had just stopped playing for a week or two and when I started playing again the problem began.  I have yet to use the mixture levers but I'll check those.

BTW thank you for your quick response.    Also, the Grumman is the only plane that is having this issue, I've tested several others including twin engine planes and they do work correctly. I've also tried uninstalling the Grumman and reinstalling a couple times with no result. 😞

Strange. Make sure you have the latest version of the Grumman Widgeon, which was recently updated to ver 1.8.1 Hotfix.

Steam version is still 1.7 something.  That is why I wondered if the steam version needed to be updated as well.

Okay I just figured it out.  I didn't realize that I needed to downnload the update.  I thought reinstalling the plane would have the hot fix.   Thank you for your time and support.
