MP Nixes MSFS start

Featured Replies

I've been paying attention to the MSFS starting issues because my internet connection is not stellar and that I have noticed that the Marketplace is the primary point of failure when starting MSFS.

There are 2 reasons for this.  The first is that MSFS tries to login to MP and if it can't you cannot run the game.  The second is that the login process tries to confirm your current installation of MP apps and if it cannot it will not allow you to run the game.  The final issue that I have is installing updates from the MP which is an insidious process that can can take several minutes to install a < 1mb update.

Anyone can confirm this?

What allows you to confirm the first quote above.  Not challenging you, just keenly interested in how you determined it.
