Need clarification on what "SayIt" exactly is...

Featured Replies

If I understand the manual correctly, the SayIt feature is essentially just selecting a pre-made statement and the computer will speak for you, similar to what's in-game in MSFS right now, correct?

I ask because I absolutely refuse to speak into a mic because the computer will *always* butcher it (I'm partially deaf, so I have a "funny" voice that computers are unable to understand).

Also, when ATC in P2A speak to me, it can appear in the form of subtitles, correct?

Finally, is there an in-game panel of a sort for P2A instead of tasking over to it constantly?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, SayIt lets you select phrases and play them.  And it does have a display where all the coversation is displayed in text.  SayIt Plus is a standalone window with additional SayIt functions.

There is not an "in game" panel.  P2A is a Windows program.

You can make it stay on top as long as you have the SIM in Windows mode.

The bets way to see how it works is to do the 10 day free trial.

Unfortunately I think I used up the 10 days before I had the chance to try it out. Life happening and all that, but thanks!

Appreciate that. I'll do that when I have some free time coming up, lol!
