Push C/V inner button not working - Garmin and default

Featured Replies

In fact, no inner buttons that need to be pressed to change function work eg changing frequency COM to V/LOC, the selector remains on COM. With the ADF, the inner knob needs to be pushed in order to select the decimal. I'm using the middle mouse button.

Tried the usual things, reinstalling MSFS/Google etc. This is with all aircraft, default and payware (JF PA28). Not had the problem until about a month ago. It might be me of course, but I'm at a loss.

Hi, Rob Jones.  Rob Jones here. 😄 Are you using the new control system?   If so, in order to operate those center-press buttons you need to click on them with the left mouse button to select them then, with the left button held down, click with the right button to activate.

Nice to meet another one:)   Yes, that was the answer. In my ignorance I was only half aware of the new system. Thought I'd tried every combination of left click/right click/button, but no.

Very much obliged to you😃.

Same for me. Thanks for the answer. It was driving me into the ground on ILS approaches.

Best thing I did was revert to legacy mouse controls in the settings when Asobo changed this up, I just couldn't wrap my head around using new mouse strokes
