September 9, 20214 yr A recent nVidia GPU driver has played havoc with some users. Appears it added a new system file that does not agree with FSX SE. It took me a lot of searching and luck to find out about it. I have been able to help five other users with this solution, so it is not unique to a single system. Here is a link to a discussion here on Avsim. Great results for that user, and it contains a link to where I originally found the solution. Hope this helps more users. Just rename the file that is mentioned so it cannot be found, or delete it if you wish. I just renamed it with a preceding underscore character.
