FS Genesis Landclass

Wow, cool. Let us know when you're done. That sounds like Goose territory...

Textures still behind though, but that's none of Justin's fault. In particular, I wonder why the irrigation circles are not part of the texture library... (are they?)

Just to be a little more clear on the above instructions for newbies1. "You basically just make a folder called Landclass, then a subfolder called Scenery. Put the landclass file in the Scenery folder." It's important to put the US*.bgl file in the scenery folder, do not put a folder containing the file into the scenery folder.2. Start FSX and under Settings/Scenery Library, Add the new landclass folder to the Scenery Library list. For further clarification - It's position in the list doesn't really matter. I tend to group my landclass files together, usually after terrain (not mesh) products like Ultimate Terrain (which isn't out yet for FSX, though the FS9 version does work to some extent), but before the photo scenery groups (IOW, between "1107 Base" and "Africa").I highly recommend Holger and Jon's forum for scenery installation tips and tricks http://forums.simflight.com/viewforum.php?...9e2e54054ec7717Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180

I just purchased and installed the FS Geneses Landclass files. It might be the area I am flying in (Houston Texas) but I was rather dissapointed in the landclass. I felt the default landclass looked better than the FS Geneses. This was rather surprising because I had the 2004 Landclass and it was a considerable improvement over the default. This is not a put down on Justin, because I think he does fantastic work, but just an observation for the area I fly.Chuck

HI Chuck,Please enter a change request in the FSG BugTracker, and be as specific as you can as to what changes you feel need to be addressed. I'm preparing version 2.01 right now, and if I don't know what specific changes are needed, I can't implement them.Thanks-------Justinhttp://www.fsgenesis.netHigh Quality Scenery for FS200x
