With my most recent MSFS start...now OBJECTIVES

Featured Replies

I have no idea what happened, but with my most recent start, I now have this OBJECTIVE box now comes onto the screen, and I have mostly lost all aircraft flight stick control.  How can I terminate this OBJECTIVE?  I have looked at the ASSIST menu, but can see where I can defeat this coming onto the screen, and I do have it disabled in the SYSTEM down pull...and it still comes on.

I did not change anything prior to this start.

Anyone?

Thanks.

"Well, it was actually very fast and quick...I merely went downstairs,  opened up my Gun Safe...took out my 12 guage, slipped a shell into the breech, closed it...walked back up to the den...aimed it at the BOX on my monitor that said :OBJECTIVES!, and pulled the trigger.   That infuriating box melded away to a spate of sparks, metal debris...and some dust...

Went downstairs, totally satisfied...put all of the 'solution' away, went to the fridge, and poured myself a beer.

It was actually fast and easy... "🙂

What actually happened, was Ihat for some reason, a not-so-clean MSFS exit screwed up some of my OPTION selections, so I had to go through each one...and reset to what I wanted. That fixed my issues...but not happy that if you don't get a 'clean' exit, it can actually corrupt your saved menu choices. Not impressed with that!
