Missing Smoothness MSFS2020?

Hopefully this is a simple question-In the "Change Axis Assignment" dialog window there is no "smoothness" setting only "filter strength."  This occurs for all axes.  I have the latest version of AAOs installed.  I was trying to dampen the effects of the Rudder Axis--Thanks for any suggestions--

You have to activate the "Curve" checkbox on the main axis control. But if you do that you can control the curve directly with the mouse wheel, this parameter here is just a fallback option.

If you want to dampen the input, use the "Filter Strength". It averages out spikes etc. from noisy controllers.
