October 2, 20214 yr Please bear with me. I have been away for a time due to medical reasons and I am taking care of a sick wife. I have little time to fly. I have searched for ways to get Carenado SVS to work and came up with over a hundred answers, non of which worked. I have P3d v4. I solved the 172 problem by uninstalling it's SVS. I would like to uninstall SVS and use the G1000 with out but I can't find out how. I would like to use the little time I have flying, not messing. Thank you for your indulgence. Rod
October 2, 20214 yr Rod: I made a package for the 172 which includes a non-SVS G1000 mod that may be what you are looking for. Send a private message with an e-mail address and we may be able to get it set up how you want it. Wayne S
October 2, 20214 yr Author I have the 172 taken care of, it had a exe file to remove it. But when I load the C182 or any of the other G1000 planes, SVS loads but will not work, I don't actually get SVS on the PDF, and of course the ter err. I want to eliminate SVS, but cant find a removal file. Rod
October 3, 20214 yr OK. The following example is for the Carenado T206H Stationair, but the procedure should be the same for all aircraft: Find 'CT206H_G1000.cab' in P3D gauges folder. Make a working copy and a backup copy. Unpack (unzip) to a folder of same name: 'CT206H_G1000'. Convert 'G1000_PFDT206VC.spb' to 'G1000_PFDT206VC.xml' with 'spl2xml.exe'. Open 'G1000_PFDT206VC.xml' in Notepad. 'Edit' 'Replace' 'Find what:' SVS 'Replace with:' SSS Click on 'Replace All' 'File' 'save' In 'CT206H_G1000' folder, delete 'G1000_PFDT206VC.spb'. Add 'CT206H_G1000' folder to P3D gauges folder and delete 'CT206H_G1000.cab' All reference to SVS will now be wiped out. Send a private message if further assistance is required. WS
