Customizable Weather Question

Featured Replies

I recently saw that Asobo Studios plans on bringing a visibility slider later in the game but i want to know if the studio plans on bringing back the User Defined Weather option from the previous sims to make customizable weather to save with a flight plan a reality again because this is the most important feature missing from this game. That's the reason i still play with FS2004 because i can make my own cold or warm fronts, cloud types and layers, temperatures, and winds at the different airport and weather stations.

This capability I believe first appeared with subLogic's Flight Assignment:ATP back in 1991.  Like you, I just cannot understand why years old capabilities have been ignored.  Customizable weather is only one on that list.

You may find the above useful. £5. Lots of customisable options.

Yes exactly. Some people over at the FS2020 fourms want something similar but they keep mentioning Live Weather to customize but live weather from the internet is also in the old sims. The user defined option was always listed under it in the Advanced Weather option. You don't have to use the live weather option.

Will the Asobo open the Weather engine, for the 3rd party  devs ?
