October 5, 20214 yr I should have grabbed a screenshot of the error message and next time I will but here it goes. I was flying in XPlane 11 from CYEG to CYZF and as I got closer to CYZF and ready to contact Approach a grammar load error presented itself repeatedly. When I clicked on the OK button the ATC kept talking as it should but when I x'd out the box I must have shut it down and never heard from ATC again and so I landed in stealth mode with no one to guide me to the gate. If you need the screenshot of the error I will have to fly that route again and capture it....otherwise, do you know what might be happening and can it be fixed?
October 5, 20214 yr Commercial Member It may have been a temporary glitch. If it happens again, you can send a screenshot of the error. Most Grammar errors happen when you connect. Dave
October 6, 20214 yr Author Ok, thanks. I did find the log file but not sure how to attach it here. Incidently I did not get that error when I departed from Yellowknife so it may have been a temporary glitch as you said.
October 6, 20214 yr Commercial Member If it happens again, you can email the log file to me at [email protected]. Dave
October 6, 20214 yr Author I also will sometimes get a missing stars and sids messages during flight planning but they are intermittent so when I attempt to fly that route again and create a flight I have no problem getting the stars and sids to show up.
October 7, 20214 yr Commercial Member That sounds like the data does not match in the SIM and P2A. Do you have P2A and the SIM/Aircraft updated to the same AIRAC data cycle?
