Taxi light in the Carenado 140B

Featured Replies

Bought the 140B last night and I can't find any switch in the cocpit for the taxi light. Apparently the 140B is equipped with taxi light beacause I can turn I't on with my taxi light button on the Honecomb Alpha. There´s two knobs/sliders that are inop in the cockpit. Are one of those supposed to be for the taxi light?

Come here you big, beautiful cup of coffee and lie to me about how much we’re going to get done today.

I presume you mean the Carenado 170B. The 140 is made by Aeroplane Heaven. You are correct, there appears to be no VC switch for it, If you use the 'all lights' switch (via an assigned key or controller button), the taxi light will come on with all the rest of the lights, but if you want to operate it individually, you will have to use an assigned button or key for it, because as noted, there is no cockpit switch for that function. I think the default key assignment for Taxi Lights is 'Alt+J', or you may have to assign this yourself to either a button or a key press.

Thanks Chock. Yes I meant the 170B. It's a typo 😄
