ATC Autorespond?

Featured Replies

Now that SU6 has been installed at my system as well I was planning to give FS2020's ATC a go again. I used ATC months ago and seem to remember that the co-pilot would handle all ATC communications as well as acknowledging ATC. So far, however, the co-pilot leaves all the acknowledging to me.  I did set the ATC to AI option in "Assistance" to on and also ATC Voices was set to on in "User Experience". Do I need to activate more options to get my co-pilot to acknowledge ATC and if so, which one(s)?

Thanks for your help

Kind regards,

ususally what you described does the trick, ie setting the AI communications on. however by conincidence I just ran into your problem as well on my last flight from LIEO to LOWW. Right from the start I had to do the comms though AI Comms was on. Toggling it off/on several times did not help. took off anyway, and tried again off/on during the approach and, well, now it worked suddenly. don't ask my why. have to say I have azure ATC enabled, did not try the text-to-speech ATC so no idea whether it may have been a bandwidth issue as the circle kept spinning quite heavily during the entire flight, may have been to MP/real traffic but on a 250gig line I would not expect that would have been the culprit.

Thanks Phil. In the meantime mine started doing the copilot stuff as well. But just a little too good . After I fired up the FBW A320 all of a sudden ATC kicked in and the copilot went thru the checklists as lightning, not waiting till it was the right moment to execute one of the checklists items 🙂 So that was ATC for me again, off it goes and I will, while waiting for a good 3rd party ATC, go ATCless thru flightsim life. Thanks again.
