Tail number help please.

Featured Replies

I am enjoying the new CubCrafters NX CUB very much, and learning how not to crash it too often. I did noticed that whatever I do in MSFS, the default plane livery does not display a tail number. I've Google searched to find a way to included one, however I haven't come up with an answer yet. Is there any way I can edit a file in MSFS to display a number?

Thanks for your time and any help.

Jack

Hi Jack.

Have you tried editing the aircraft.cfg file?  Not sure of your install type, but if it's from the store, navigate to the MSFS 2020\Official\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-xcub\SimObjects\Airplanes folder. Replace the AXSGS with your tail number inside the quotation marks in the line atc_id = "ASXGS" ; tail number within the Fltsim 0.  entry.  For example:  atc_id = "N1234" ; tail number
