November 21, 20214 yr Commercial Member After a reinstall, I told MSFS to put my community folder in D:\Program Files\FS2020\Community. However, other software seems to think that my folder is under %APPDATA%\Local\Packages\MSFS\LocalCache\Packages, and I cannot seem to move files to the area on D. How do I resolve this? Cheers! November 21, 20214 yr Check out your UserCfg.opt (under C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator, not sure if that is also correct for the MS Store version), at the bottom there's a path to the main installation directory. Make sure that's correct. Only suggestion I have. [MSI MPG X870E Carbon | 9800X3D (PBO +200Mhz / -20 Offset) | Corsair 64GB DDR5 (Custom Timings) | RTX 4090 Founders Edition (Undervolted) | WD SNX 850X 4TB + 4TB | Antec Flux Pro]

I have it under %APPDATA%\Local\Packages\MSFS\LocalCache, and it shows: InstalledPackagesPath "D:\Program Files\FS2020" So I think the sim is 'correct', now see whether I can configure the FBW installer to point to the same place. Thanks! Luke Kolin I make simFDR, the most advanced flight data recorder for FSX, Prepar3D and X-Plane.
November 21, 20214 yr Author Commercial Member .. and updating the FBW Installer config.json seems to have done the trick, at least to download into the right area. Cheers! Luke Kolin I make simFDR, the most advanced flight data recorder for FSX, Prepar3D and X-Plane.
