November 21, 20214 yr Is there a way to tune a VOR freq and get a CDI needle up on the left MFD? I assume you could get a tacan or VOR needle on it. I've noticed the UFCP has some sort of autopilot you can enable as well. November 24, 20214 yr Has anybody figured this out yet? I loaded a simple flight plan for a flight from KLGB to Mira Mar MCAS and this procedure worked for me. After takeoff engage A/P function on the UFCD, and then CPL WPT and BALT on the submenu. The plane should capture that altitude and fly to the first waypoint. On the HSI set scale to SC/160, and cycle to the last waypoint. Hit CPL WPT one more time, and you will see the message in the center of the HSI. Edited November 24, 20214 yr by dobee51
November 24, 20214 yr Author That's a pre loaded flight plan. I'm speaking of tuning an actual VOR and seeing a CDI needle. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
