November 25, 20214 yr Hi, So far I've used my child computer for flight simulator mainly for IFR flights FWB 320 with 1920x1080 resolution. It was i5-8600K with 16GB RAM and GTX1060 6GB. I was quite happy with this configuration having most settings on medium. I had little slutters on Fly Tampa Copenhagen or freeware Gatwick airports, nothing serious. Now, I'm thinking about buying a low budget computer exlusively for flight simulator. Mostly IFR flights with 1920x1080 resolution, the one that will allow me to put most settings on High. For example an i5-10600K, 32 GB, GTX 1660 Super, it suites my budget. Would it be much differance if I buy the same configuration but with i5-10400F processor ? The base clock is much low (2.6 vs 4.1), but does it really matter ? Welcome any ideas how to modify i5-10600K, 32 GB, GTX 1660 Super, staying on the same budget. Slawek
