November 27, 20214 yr Hello al, Well, l have just had my flightsim computer repaired and uninstalled/re-installed MSFS2020. The following problems exist after that lengthy process. 1. changed everything in assistance options from easy to hard. - Sorted 2. I now have no access to my taskbar in non VR flight. A suggestion in a previous topic was that I reset the taskbar in order to access it in VR (I can actually access it in VR but I cannot mouse click on anything) From that point of view, it would seem to be a hopeless loop in that I can not access it in non VR to change anything and in VR, which I can access, I cannot activate anything. 3. The haze, which is a problem encountered by many, is very much evident. 4. With the Google maps alternative, I click on the run.bat (run with administrator) it come up normally but when I click on the subsequent box "run" I get a dotted line around the border and the cmd prompt gives me a line "PermissionError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: "c:\\Windows\\System32\\Drivers\\etc\\hosts" It also continues displaying the Stopped message. I have deleted this many times and downloaded the latest from Github and also from Flightsim.to and it does not change anything. Last is not a problem but I would like some information about it. Rolling Cache. This is normally set on 8. I have changed that to 32 but notice no difference at all. What, if any, benefit do I get from changing it upwards. I am happy with the default path on C drive as that is an NVME SSD of 1TB. I am very unsure of what this actually does and is it better to have it up or down from 8gb (default) Thanks guys Tony Tony Chilcott. My System. Motherboard.
