F/A-18 Question

Featured Replies

I love flying the F/A-18, and the way the cockpit looks. A lot of it seems to almost work.

I wonder, can any of the missing avionics be implemented?

For example, a working Air to Air or Air to Ground radar?

there is a project at flightsim.to that is working on some more military-like functionality. sorry im not at my normal computer and cannot access flightsim.to.

i believe it is called "super warrior".

I saw that one, but no specific mention of any new working avionics.

If you're interested in that level of sensor functionality, I can't recommend the DCS Hornet enough

As above, if you want all working bells and whistles DCS simulates the lot.

I actually have the VRS Tac Pack and the VRS Superbug aircraft, but they are licensed for FSX and I had to gut FSX and P3d to make room for MSFS. Every year I try DCS free trial package, and it works fine on my system for the free aircraft, but the premium planes become a slideshow.

MSFS on the other hand hits all the buttons - scenery, weather, aircraft systems...

I used the excellent tutorials and documentation included with the VRS aircraft to test the MSFS plane. Just made me curious if the missing systems could be implemented. Seems like much of it has already been developed for traffic detection, weather, etc.
