December 5, 20214 yr Hi Dave i am back again i have now done a clean install of windows 11 i am trying to use the Language Trainer clicking on any of the full training and clicking train dose nothing i had the uk language pack install but also tried the us pack and they both dont work for me any suggestions?
December 5, 20214 yr Commercial Member Check the following settings in Windows Time & Language settings section:Region Tab: Country or region – United States - may work with your native country Regional format – May work with your native lang. If not set to: Recommend [English (United States)]Language Tab: Windows display language – May work with your native lang. If not set to: English (United States) Preferred languages – English(United States) at top of listSpeech Tab: Speech Language – English(United States) Recognize non-native accents for this language – Check if you are not a native US English speaker If you haven't done the standard Microsoft Speech Training, do that now. Some users have had the P2A Training start working after they went through the Windows language training. Finally, bring up the old style Control Panel and navigate to Control Panel->Ease of Access->Speech Recognition->Advanced Speech Options->SpeechRecognition and set Language to "Microsoft Speech Recognition 8.0 for Windows (English US). December 6, 20214 yr Author thanks dave will try them out i had looked for the speech training under the new interface nice to know its still there just hidden a little deeper in the menus
December 6, 20214 yr Author the above did work all i had to change was the Control Panel->Ease of Access->Speech Recognition->Advanced Speech Options->SpeechRecognition and set Language to "Microsoft Speech Recognition 8.0 for Windows (English US) i did the training on there now its showing up in p2a Thanks again
