Order of start ups on FS2020

Featured Replies

I have been having some issues lately with my hardware.  My button assignments on GF RF-48 and CH Throttle are not responding  My Saitek switch and radio panels, and my GF MCPPRO are working fine but latter two.

I have not been on the sim for a couple of months.  I hade to dismantle my cockpit cause of remodeling.  I have updated all sim related things.

FSUIPS 7.21.3 , LINDA 4.0.5

Before, the order was FS2020,  then the FSUIPC would auto start, then when in the cockpit, I would start the Goflight interface tool, then LINDA.  That was all fine before.

Now that order doesn't work.  According to your instructions, it should be MSFS and LINDA, then once in the cockpit, FSUIPC7.

Problem with this that FSUIPC7 starts with MSFS,  then when I go to start LINDA, it states that  flight sim or FSUIPC is not running.  Both are running, FSUIPC7 is in my task bar.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi @Gnacino

I warn you that I am not a fan of MSFS2020 and do not normally use it. I am fed up with the constant major updates/downloads.

I have tested the start up sequence for MSFS2020. I started LINDA first, followed by MSFS2020 and finally FSUIPC7 (7.2.13). I have FSUIPC7 options Auto connect to FS and Exit with FS. I can't find a start with FS option. This works for me and LINDA syncs with FSUIPC7.

I hope this helps.

I am with you on that.  I'm a Boeing guy, and that is what I prefer to fly, mainly because I fully understand their systems.  However, since MSFS I've been flying the A320 and that was Greek to me.  Compleyely different systems than Boeing.

But, since I Have a full array of hardware, it is frustrating to try and use the mouse to do something.  It seems that everytime they have an update, the controls change or get messed up.

The good news is that I got every thing to work again.  How?  I really don't know as I have spent a good part of the week trying different things.

Thanks the same for your help and time on your software (LINDA), which is a real time saver and when things aren't working, it is very much missed.
