December 6, 20214 yr So my schedule takes me from Easton, Maryland (USA), to Bloomington, Indiana, tomorrow and this is what must be dealt with. Headwinds that climb severely if I choose to climb. Ha! Clearly the law of diminishing returns. This FltPlan.com plan is based on a Bonanza B36 and luckily I fly the Robert Young Turbo Bonanza A36 for MSFS. So I will gain some 10~15 knots TAS. But my best enroute time and burn due to headwinds is at 2,000 ft., a level I cannot fly due to mountains in West Virginia. So it will be either 2,000 or 4,000. And I am banking on getting a direct to from Wooly to CVG. If I had to stay on V airways the flight an burn would be +10%+. At least at 6,000 or below I will avoid any icing issues! Go west young man! But get older doing do this week! LOL!
