Do you remember that "Runway Gauge"?

Featured Replies

I remember a great gauge in some FS9 panels called, I believe, a "runway gauge". What I liked about it was that when I plugged in an airport, and selected my ILS displayed in the gauge, it set my Nav1 radio to the correct frequency. I found this to be a fantastic help when flying (almost like a co-pilot doing it for me). I didn't have to stop the sim an go into the Map, click on the airport, and manually decide on the correct ILS, and input the radio frequency. My question: does that gauge exist for FSX panels, and can it be put into all panels of my choice? Please let me know if it can be done, and I'd appreciate some help in explaining how to do it.

The data files in version 2 are dated late 2005, so there may be some updates needed. But the input file format is .txt so changing is a snap. I installed gauge in my Cheyenne and updated a few items. Trivial. Works great in FS9. Need to check out in FSX.gmark
