April 26, 200719 yr It took me a while + a reinstall of FSX to figure out that FSUIPC was crashing FSX. Anyone seen this before? I guess I can't run anything that uses FSUIPC. Since I reinstalled FSX, FSUIPC is still crashing it even before and after FSX re-activation. FSX runs fine if I remove FSUIPC4.dll or disable it in the dll.xml file.
April 26, 200719 yr Hi,Have you contacted Pete about this?Also, there are known issues of some programs accessing SimConnect before FSUIPC that may cause this. AutoThumnail is one of them.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
April 26, 200719 yr I have not received activation for my registration on his support forum yet, and that's the reason I posted here. Hoping someone might have a solution.

April 26, 200719 yr I just need the free version for ActiveSky, RadarContact, and future addon packages that use FSUIPC.
April 26, 200719 yr >I just need the free version for ActiveSky, RadarContact, and>future addon packages that use FSUIPC.Flightsim Commander requires a registered FSUIPC. Maybe other addons require it also. April 26, 200719 yr Did you check you have the latest version of FSUIPC? It is updated often. And if you did, are you sure you put it in the right place - check for duplicate FSUIPC4.dll files. The correct location is FSXModules.Allcott
April 27, 200719 yr I ran the installation executable and it detected FSX's path, and put the FSUIPC4.dll (version 4.09) into the right place. I did that right after a flesh install of FSX, even before any addons. It still crashs FSX. When I delete FSUIPC4.dll from FSXModules, FSX runs fine.
April 27, 200719 yr I had a problem as well, not with FSUIPC itself but with it's install. Something was wrong with my SimConnect.dll. I deleted the SimConnect folder and ran the FSX repair option which reinstalled the dll. Afterwards it worked perfect.Heiko Cheers Heiko i920 D0 @ 4.2 Ghz water cooled | 200x21 | Gigabyte X58A-UD3R | G.Skill 6GB F3-16000CL9 @ 2000 MHz 9-9-9-24 1T (1.60v) | 2x Intel X25-M G2 160 GB SSD, 2x Raptor 150, 1x WD 2500 KS 16 MB S-ATA2 | Tagan 1100 | EVGA GTX 480 Hydro Copper FTW @ 865/1729/2000 -> 59 C | 24" Benq FP241 6ms LCD @ 1920x1200x32, 2 x 19" Samsung 970P 6ms LCD @ 1280x1024x32 | Sound - Xonar Essence ST, Fatality HS-1000 headset | Saitek X52 Pro | Win7 Ultimate 64 | SuperPi 1M - 9.6 sec

April 27, 200719 yr I have spoken too soon. Here's the problem. If I go into advance weather and set clear every thing out. It crashes. To fix this, I just use the Clear Sky setting.
