I Have a question concerning ai spotting. What I would like to do is sit by a runway and have the camera automatically track the incoming ai plane and watch it as it lands across the screen. I was able to do this in Active Camera but we all know Active Camera doesn't work in fsx. I tried using the new wheelcam but that doesn't do it. I have also looked in the forums but didn't find much. I think altering the cameras would help but I'm not good at that and the advice given doesn't address my particular situation. There is alot of help out there for moving the tower and the eyepoint and that kind of thing. Also would this be something related to the fly by feature. I never use that one and can never get it to work. This could be done in fs2004 tower view but not in fsx. I also miss Active Camera and traffic view board as well. Thanks

Maybe not exactly what you want to do -but pretty close.(I haven't done this for a while so I hope I correctly remember the steps. Go to multiplayer-set up a session where you are the atc controller-save it.Then exit the sim-reopen it and load your saved session. You will be in the tower-will see the flight strips, and be able to move around the tower and zoom in and out as the ai aircraft land/takeoff.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg

You can also shift your eyepoint outside the VC of the C172, rightclick on the screen and select any of the AI listed to "track them..."
