December 18, 20214 yr Hello guys, I have been away fronm simming for about 3 month because of another mooving. When I shut down my computer after my last flight in August, all was fine, but since I have fired up again, my FPS have dropped from a strong solid 30 to 10, even 2 in view from outside. What have changed since I fired up, Win10 got some normal updates, I have installed lates nvidia driver, but it was the same results with 466.77, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Navigraph and simlinks, and that is it. As for graphic card settings, what ever the settings, the results does not change at all. FPS are below 2 digits, wether I have stock or PMDG or FSLABS or otherrs. The only thing cool, is when I pause the game, I have my good old 45-60 fps. i only need 30... So before I re install P3D client and content, if any one as a suggestion, an hint or even an idea, thanks for sharing with me computer specs are in my sig, but any way Win 10 uptodate, Core I7 9900 3.6 at 4.9, Aurus with 32 Gig Ram, GTX1070. December 18, 20214 yr Suggestions: Check that Windows did not auto enable HAGS, or ‘Game Mode’. That happened on mine and it really impacted performance. Perhaps use ProcMon and fire up P3D and see what else might be hogging your resources. Consider rolling back that latest Win update, since it’s easy to do. If all was good 3 months ago, then I”d be taking a hard look at what Windows update might have changed on your system. rgds, JB 9800x3d, ASUS TUF x870, 64GB G.Skill DDR5, MSI Ventus 4080, HP Reverb G2 VR, FlyVirtual.net, Private Pilot SEL rating, subLogic FlightSim 1983 & every release since
