Hello!

I'm currently having an issue with the doors on the 747-8. When I call for Prepare for Pushback and departure from GSX, the doors continuously open and close. Does LINDA module 1.5 for the 747 have access to the door functions on the PMDG 747? If so, how can I disable it or correct the issue?

Hi, I do not use the B747 (or any Boeings) so I can not advise directly. You can list all the functions in any aircraft module by clicking on the List Functions link. You will be able to find any door functions.

No LINDA functions are normally called without being assigned to a key or button. However, I know the module author liked to automate certain ground functions. If you load the aircraft and click on Edit button (top line) you can inspect the main actions.lua code. Search for references to Doors. Any automated  logic will be inside a Timer function. These lines can be commented out and disabled using 2 dashes (—j in front of each line you don’t want.

@SKEWRI took a look at the PMDG 747 module 1.5. As I suspected, there is a GSX_door_automation() function called from the module. This function is located in the GSX library (lib-GSX.lua). You can disable this function call by editing the PMDG 747 actions.lua file, searching for GSX_door_automation, adding 2 dashes in front of the function call, saving the file and then clicking on Reload LUA Engine.
