Multiple aircraft profiles

Featured Replies

Hi,

I realize I'm misunderstanding a fundamental aspect of this wonderful program, but I'm struggling to understand how to assign buttons to different aircraft.

I have used Linda with the Aerosoft A330, assigning buttons on my Honeycomb yoke and throttles.  I downloaded and installed an A330 profile, and that allowed me to map a bunch of functions to joystick buttons, as expected, and it worked well.  Now I'm trying to assign buttons with for QW787, but when I choose the profile I downloaded and go to assign buttons, it shows the buttons I've already assigned to the A330.

I thought that selection the QW787 profile from the dropdown would allow me to assign buttons only for that aircraft, but I guess that's not the case? How do I keep my A330 profile the way it is but set up the QW787?

Appreciate any help,

Daniel

Each aircraft when loaded should show in the Aircraft Selector box and this should be sync-ed to the Sim (orange border). Some functions may be pre-assigned for each aircraft. These will be those for the default aircraft and shown in green. However, you should not see those for different aircraft. When you select from the assignment pop-up you should see the selected aircraft module and those for the libraries and standard function (eg. FSX controls). For most joysticks like the Honeycomb you will have to make your own assignments to suit your requirements.
