Flight plan loaded - P3D not responding!

Featured Replies

Hi Alex, trust you are keeping well and Covid-free...

I recently updated to v5.3 of P3D - everything working fine...completed a tour of the Amazon region west to east with 22 plans created with LNM.

'Returning' to the UK I then noticed stutters in the sim and on checking forums discovered other flyers with the same issues but appear to be in/over more dense scenery areas (Amazon region pretty sparse!). Installed the full P3Dv5.3+HF1 to 'overcome' the stuttering issue which does seem to be resolved but now have a challenge with P3D not responding when loading a new flight plan via LNM!

After installing the new P3D I did delete both p3d.cfg and scenery.cfg files which then rebuilt on first boot. Also ran the scenery update in LNM.

A suggestion to delete the shader folder has also not solved the issue

Another observation is that after creating a plan with LNM then loading into P3D, the plan selection screen shows a fragmented map depiction!

Very curious observation: if I load and 'old' plan (one that I use for quick test flights) - the plan selection screen shows a complete map and the plan loads albeit slowly!!!

Do you have any suggestions that might resolve this issue?

I am running W10; P3Dv5.3+HF1; Navigraph Airac LNM_2112; LNM v2.6.17.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Ken.

Issue resolved - my fault!

I had not ticked the box to 'read add-on xml files'.

Sorry 😌
