December 27, 20214 yr Just downloaded msfs so I probably shouldn't be flying the Daher TBM 930 yet (I do have 150 hours in actual light aircraft like 172s and Citabrias). I noticed that it seems to want to bank farther than the aileron input I'm giving it. Is this due to the fact that it's cruising, in my case, at about 200 knots? Your joystick won't give you same feed back as real 172 or Citabria. You will have to adjust sensitivity and dead zone accordingly. There are two way about: to reduce sensitivity in order simulate controls pressure, or adjust to existing sensitivity and interpolate real world feedback. P.S. It's funny you mentioned "actual" hours. In our local aviation slang we refer "actual" means IMC, everything else is either total or PIC 🙂 Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). December 27, 20214 yr Author sd_flyer: My PIC hours ( stated above as actual) were quite a while ago. 🙂 I have adjusted the sensitivity , deadzone etc on the Logitech 3D pro, as well as mapping buttons to key functions. It was only at cruise speed and only on this aircraft that it seemed to want to bank faster than the aileron input. I'll try it again and make doubly sure the autopilot is off. This one has a "half bank" setting on the AP -- not sure what that does. Normally I'd stick to C172 etc for a while but I wanted to try a flight from my home area ( Bellingham WA) to Spokane without boring holes for a long time.
