Problem with Scanning T2G MMMX Scenery

Featured Replies

Loading Scenery Library scans OK, but what I see for Taxi2Gate's MMMX doesn't match the scenery. The Overview tab of the Information window shows the T2G scenery:

Scenery
0203 Base   F:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Scenery\0203\scenery\APX21250.bgl
MMMX        F:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Addon Scenery\MMMX-T2G\MMMX\Scenery\MMMX_AF.BGL
MMMX        F:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Addon Scenery\MMMX-T2G\MMMX\Scenery\MMMX_Exclude.bgl

Yet the resulting map doesn't match the scenery parking spots and taxiway location. Appreciate any help.

Thank you, David. Got the files. Give me a few or a few more days to look at it.

Currently trying to fix some tricky display issues in LNM.🙃

BTW: Check if there is nothing excluded from in the LNM options dialog on page "Scenery Library Database".

My Files in the AVSIM Library

Hi David,

finished some other nagging tasks and found some time to look at this. There are a few issues in the log file:

...
[2022-01-01 9:01:43.989 WARN ]: void atools::fs::NavDatabase::readAddOnComponents(int&, atools::fs::scenery::SceneryCfg&, QVector<atools::fs::scenery::AddOnComponent>&, QStringList&, QSet<QString>&, const QFileInfo&) "C:/Users/dave_/Documents/Prepar3D v5 Add-ons/MMMX/add-on.xml" does not exist or is not a directory
[2022-01-01 9:01:43.989 WARN ]: void atools::fs::NavDatabase::readAddOnComponents(int&, atools::fs::scenery::SceneryCfg&, QVector<atools::fs::scenery::AddOnComponent>&, QStringList&, QSet<QString>&, const QFileInfo&) "C:/Users/dave_/Documents/Prepar3D v5 Add-ons/MMMX-city/add-on.xml" does not exist or is not a directory

[2022-01-01 9:01:43.992 INFO ]: Found duplicate addon file "C:/Users/dave_/Documents/Prepar3D v5 Add-ons/T2G MMMX/add-on.xml"
...

Not sure if this is related to the problem.

But what looks like the root cause is that there is a complete airport in the exclude file which cannot be right:

[2022-01-01 9:17:19.600 INFO ]: =P=== "3193 of 18355 (17 %) [1]" "MMMX_Exclude.bgl"
[2022-01-01 9:17:19.615 DEBUG]: Found 1 airports. idents: "MMMX"

I disabled all involved BGL files except MMMX_Exclude.bgl and still see an airport. The airport layout looks correct if I exclude this file in LNM options on page scenery library database.

You can exclude the file MMMX_Exclude.bgl to fix the issue. See shot below (disregard the paths from the Linux test installation):

Hope this helps.

Thank you Alex. I finally got time to repair this. Ended up uninstalling and installing the scenery. It works now. Again, thank you for your help and for a great product.
