XP11 IFR on PilotEdge Yakima KYKM

Featured Replies

Decided to do some IFR practice on PilotEdge in some real IMC conditions.
Yakima, WA KYKM is a great place to fly IFR procedures as they have many complex DP and Approaches due to the terrain. For this flight I flew the WENAS7 TITON transition, hold then direct WIKIK for the full ILS 27 from WIKIK. Low approach and flew the published missed and held. Took the ILS 27 from XOWLO procedure turn then ILS to land. This was all in a Cessna 210 REP
The departure has an DME Arc leg and the approach is a DME Arc. The VOR is off field. I used auto pilot for about 70% of the flight as I hand flew both approaches and half of the DME Arc.
You can see my iPad on the right is the GTN750 so that allows touch screen use via DUET and on the left is Garmin Pilot which is tied to the sim. WX was 5sm ovc 015 with light winds. Great IFR practice while having live ATC.
