January 11, 20224 yr Hi all. The title is because I thought rather than starting a bunch of new threads with one question each, I would just ask several questions in one thread. My setup for VR is a Quest 2, connected via Air Link. So ......... here goes: 1. Does the Oculus Tray Tool work with Airlink wireless? 2. Does the Oculus Debug Tool work with Airlink wireless? 3. I keep reading about the NIS Scaling tool and I have it installed but I can't see any difference when I try to enable it. Does it work with wireless? Guidance on how to use it with Airlink and a Quest 2 would be greatly appreciated. 4. I have used the Quest 2 controllers in the cockpit in VR with some success. Does Oculus hand tracking not work with MSFS in VR? I better stop there. I will make great use of all responses and guidance you are willing to give me. FYI, the shimmering/flickering, or whatever you call it, makes VR for me almost useless, although I keep adjusting settings and trying. Is what I am experiencing the AA issues that I read people talking about? A few months ago I had really clear VR, and then didn't use it for a few months. Now the VR image is wavering all over the place, even on the MSFS home screen. I would feel better if I knew it wasn't just me :-). Thanks in advance for your feedback Rob ......... January 11, 20224 yr I can answer a couple of your points. NIS mod does work with quest 2 and airlink. You wont see any difference but your fps should go up so test this. I get 6-8fps extra. The shimmering might be helped by not going above say, 30% sharpen in NIS mod config tool and by editing your UserCfg.opt (search your pc for it) file. In this file there's a VR section and under that change the "sharpen" value to 0.
