January 15, 20224 yr Hi Simmers, I use Pilto2ATC for quite some time and I am really happy with it, except the callout of the tailnumber, I use GA how can I get rid off this number, my callsign should be enough Each time I delete the tailnumber in the config it resets itself back Wim
January 15, 20224 yr Commercial Member In GA, the official call sign is the tail number or the manufacturer and the tail number/last three characters of the tail number. I don't understand what you mean by not wanting the tail number. In Config, once you save the call sign information, it will be put back until you save it again. If you want to just make up your own call sign, then use a Military Call Sign. See the Operations guide for how to set that up. Dave Edited January 15, 20224 yr by Dave-Pilot2ATC
January 17, 20224 yr Author Thank you Dave, my callsign is TIX134 that is easy to use in Pilot2ATC but in GA or Airline it adds the tailnumber so you get TIX134 NA1... so when using speech recognition it is too long and sometimes it is difficult to be recognized by the program, If military gives this option it is ok for me. Regards Wim
January 17, 20224 yr Commercial Member You can use a GA call sign and put TIX in the Manufacturer box and 134 in the Tail number box. That should give you a call sign of TIX 134. Dave
January 17, 20224 yr Commercial Member Another option is to choose a more realistic tail number that ends in 134, like N2C134 for a US tail number beginning with N. Other regions have different rules for tail numbers, but just have it end in 134. Then TIX 134 will be a legitimate call sign. Dave
