Receiving no voice on vPilot

Featured Replies

Hello everybody

Without having anything changed at all on my system (that i know of), i can't hear any voice on vpilot (with P3Dv5) anymore. The "RX" button in the top remains dark as well even though there are transmissions on the frequency. The other users can hear me fine and the "TX" button illuminates as well.

I tried updating windows as well as all kinds of drivers on my system but nothing helped.

Has anyone an idea of what could be going on?

Best regards and thanks for your help in advance

Best regards

Felix

I had this same issue happen recently and I nearly tore my hair out trying to figure it out. If you have an Asus Motherboard or PC you may see their Sonic Studio app installed with the Realtek Audio Drivers. . Uninstall that. Go in Device manager and disable the sonic studio virtual mixer device. Restart, load up your sim and vpilot and you'll hear transmissions as normal again. I don't know what Asus/Realtek did in their recent updates but the sonic studio virtual mixer device throws vpilot off. It doesn't bother VLC, OBS or any other application though. It's a strange one.
