Amazing as it transformed the appearance of my ultra wide HiDef monitor. 
Grace as it was freely given to me. 

Been bummed out recently with the grainy appearance of my hidef simulator. (3440x1440 mostly Ultra). Was very distracting because it was not always that way.

So I googled (grace part) grainy MSFS 2020 and the common answer was set sharpen and film grain to zero in the usercfg.opt and set it to read only to prevent sim resetting. 

I did (amazing part) and the results were transformational on my system. Give it a try. This only takes a second and you can put it right back if you don’t like it
