What Happened Overnight?

Featured Replies

I've already posted this to the P3D forum.

I cranked up my P3Dv5.3 for a flight around the San Francisco Bay Area (ORBX NorCal scenery) and all the small boat's and ship's wakes go straight up into the stratosphere.   I went to Seattle to test out Puget Sound and likewise all the boat's and ship's wakes are straight up.

I haven't added anything new to the simulator or changed anything.  Yesterday everything was alright but today the wakes have left the water and gone to the sky.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Sounds like your wake effect/s have gone buggers!

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

It appears to be only the small boat wakes.  The big ship wakes from the Henrik's ships look OK.

Never mind.  Problem solved.  I copied all the fx wake files from my FSX installation over to my P3D installation and that solved the problem.
